Vesna Ivanović Ocwirk ha conseguito la maturità di pianoforte presso la Scuola di musica di Pola (HR). All'età di sedici anni è diventata uno dei più giovani studenti dell'Accademia di Musica di Zagabria, dove si è diplomata nel 1992 presso il dipartimento di pianoforte nella classe del prof. Jakša Zlatar. Durante e dopo gli studi si è specializzata in masterclass di interpretazione pianistica nelle classi di K. Bogino, A. Ciccolini e L. Brumberg. È attiva sia nell’insegnamento che come pianista solista e pianista accompagnatore. Ha tenuto concerti come solista e in formazioni cameristiche, in numerose città, soprattutto in Croazia e in Italia. È membro della Società Croata degli Artisti e Musicisti. Dal 2002 è presidente dell’Associazione Scena musicale giovani dell’Istria, un'associazione per la promozione della musica, dell'arte e della cultura, che si occupa in modo particolare dei giovani musicisti di talento accompagnandoli sistematicamente nella loro formazione, organizzando per loro concerti a Pola e in Istria. È direttrice artistica di numerosi festival di musica da camera (Tramonti fazanesi, Pulski glazbenici, La penisola gioiosa), e dal 2024 di festival pianistico Piano poolA, che fa parte dell´associazione artistica IM Infinite Music .
