She
studied with Pavla Pokojna at the Bratislava
Conservatory where she was born. She perfected her
piano studies in Belgium with Jacques Genty,
obtaining the "Premièr Prix" at the Mons
Conservatoire and later in Bonn with Stefano
Askenase and in Rome with Carlo Zecchi and Tito
Aprea. Winner of the First Prize at the Brussels
Chopin Competition in 1969 She participated in the
concert cycle "K. Und K." of the 21st Festival of
the Two Worlds in Spoleto. For the Italian
Television she recorded a commemorative concert on
the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Jancek's
death (1978). She records for RCA. She taught piano
at the Conservatorio 'A. Casella' in L'Aquila.
